Description:

The sealing fitting are normally used in the chemical and pretrochemical plants, off-shore platforms refineries and any other industry where hazardous atmospheres (gas and combustible dust) are potentially present.

Function:

* The Sealing fitting are used to prevent the passage of gasses, vapours or flames through an Ex d conduit system from one enclosure to another.

* The sealing fitting EYS series are designed for vertical installation only.

* The sealing fitting EZS Series can be used for both vertical and horizontal installations.

* The sealing fitting must be installed closer as possible to each EX d electrical enclosures and must be filled with approved Bi-component sealing compound Type DY62/N363.

* other Sealing compound are not allowed.

* To support the sealing compound until it sets, the fitting hubs must be plugged with fiber.
